Makeup should not be applied for 72 hours (three days) after the procedure to the tattoo area. After any eyeliner procedure, wear a new mask for the first 10 days after the 3 days without makeup. You may experience mild swelling and redness on the day of the procedure. Some people swell more than others.
The eyes may be sensitive and if you have allergies, very watery eyes, or know that they swell easily, it is recommended that you take an over-the-counter antihistamine such as Benadryl or similar before your procedure. Ice packs will help relieve inflammation and can be used frequently for the first 24 hours. You can resume your normal activities immediately, except that you will be advised not to wear makeup directly on the treated area for about a week. There is a slight redness, scarring and peeling during the first week. Most customers resume their regular hours, such as returning to work, the next day. It is recommended that for very special occasions or anytime you want to look your best, allow a week of healing time. Do not wear a mask until the external healing is complete.
Do not use old mascara tubes. Application of any makeup for 10 days.
